Graham Moore has an interesting article that takes you into his process for writing Alan Turning in his screenplay for Imitation Game based on the book by Andrew Hodges. Ever since i became associated with the character Hannibal Lecter and Sherlock Holmes and learned that there are fictional characters that are smarter than me, i had to imagine writing characters that i knew knew nothing about.

The article goes into Conan Doyle and his ability to write for Holmes and the relationship between writer and character. Moore’s article¬†gives a writer an interesting way to look at creating and using a character that is so much different than you.
